Again I turned to herbs to help Sage’s immune system and this time I decided to try Global Herbs Defenze Capsules. Being a capsule this supplement is a little difficult to give to cats, so I smear butter over it to make it slippy then push it down his throat once a day. I then syringe a little water to wash it down for him.
To help control the bacteria in his mouth I started to use Pet Dent Oral Gel and alternate it with Pet Dent Toothpaste. Both of these products contain Chlorhexadine which I have found very effective in helping to control his mouth problem.
